Class-7 Science activity: Investigating saturation point of a solute

Learners of class VII observed saturation point of a solute. They took sodium chloride as a solute and water as a solvent. Using Measuring cylinder measured 5 ml of water and pour inside a beaker. Using spatula they took sodium chloride and put inside the beaker. Stirred with a glass rod. They continued dissolving  sodium chloride until no more sodium chloride is dissolved in water. They measures the mass of one spatula of sodium chloride and multiplied with the number of spatulas they put inside the beaker to calculate the total mass of sodium chloride dissolved in water. The activity was a great learning experience for the children.
