Learners of Class VIII investigated if resistance affected by change in length of wire. They connected battery, ammeter, voltmeter, variable resistor, switch, Wire in a circuit. They Changed the length of wire. They took 20 cm, 25 cm and 45 cm wire and measured the reading of voltage and current in voltmeter and ammeter respectively. Then they calculated the resistance using formula ( V= I X R) and concluded that Changing the length of wire affects the resistance also.
