Students of class VI, VII and VIII went to Gurudwara, Pushpanjali Encalve during school hours. Students covered their heads before leaving from school. Covering heads symboloses respect towards the god. Students reached Gurudwara and removed their shoes and kept in shoe racks allotted to them and washed their hands. It encouraged discipline among students. Each student one by one bow down infront of gurugranth sahib and took the blessings. Students spent good time by sitting in gurudwara and listening bhajans. Main priest conducted Ardaas from Cambridge International DAVPS and distributed kada prasad among students. Students were calm and felt postive vibes around them.

STEM CLUB ACTIVITY

Learners of stage -7,8,9 made solar oven and robotic hand as a part of stem club activity. The solar oven you build in this activity is a relatively simple one made out of a pizza box, aluminum foil, plastic wrap, and a sheet of black paper. You cut a flap out of the pizza box's lid and line this flap with aluminum foil so that sunlight can be reflected off of the foil and into the box. You also seal the opening with plastic wrap to create a plastic "window" that works like a greenhouse roof, allowing (direct and reflected) sunlight to pass into the box, while also retaining heat. At the bottom of the box, you placed black paper to create a "heat sink." This heat sink works by absorbing direct and reflected sunlight to become warm so that it can then heat up food placed on top of it.

The anatomy of our hands is complex and intricate. To explore how our fingers on our hands are able to move, building a robot hand activity was also done, Learners trace hand shape on coloured paper, cut it. They cut 14 straws of 1.5 cm, 3 straws of 5cm, 2 straws of 7cm. Pasted them on hand trace, Then they used thread and put inside the straws . Pulled threads and as they are pulling hand is also working.
