Raksha Bandhan Celebration

 

Raksha Bandhan or Rakhi is a special occasion to celebrate the virtuous bond between brother and a sister which is one of the deepest and noblest of all human emotions. On this day, a sister ties a Rakhi around the wrist of her brother to pray for his prosperity, health, and well-being. The brother in return offers a gift and promises to protect his sister from any harm under every circumstance.

To celebrate this event students of DAVPS Cambridge International tied the knots of protection to trees. With this they promised to be an active protection member of their environment and pledge for its safeguard.  

Stage-9 Science Activity Measuring mass and volume of liquid, regular solid, irregular solid

 

Learners of Stage-9 performed the activity of measuring the mass and volume of liquid , regular solid and irregular shaped solid object. Then by using mass and volume they calculated the density of these objects. Using Weighing machine, measuring cylinder they learnt the measurements and handling equipments. The activity was a great learning experience for the learners. 

New Computer Lab Inauguration

 

Our school cambridge segment had an exciting event - the inauguration of a brand new computer lab! The lab is equipped with computers and the latest software, allowing students to explore the digital world and expand their knowledge in various subjects. It was a moment of celebration as teachers gathered for official opening of this incredible facility.

The computer lab is a significant addition to our school because it holds immense potential for enhancing our learning experience. With these advanced computers, we can now conduct research more efficiently, create multimedia projects with ease, and develop valuable digital skills. Moreover, the lab also provides a platform for us to collaborate with our peers on assignments and engage in interactive learning activities. As a high school student, I am thrilled about the opportunities this new lab brings and the endless possibilities it presents for us to grow academically and personally. I am grateful to our school administration and generous donors for investing in our education and providing us with such a valuable resource. The inauguration of the computer lab has certainly added a new dimension to our learning journey, and I cannot wait to explore all that it has to offer.

Stage-8 Activity of observing Magnetic Field lines

Learners of Stage-8 performed the activity in which they observed the magnetic field lines using Iron filings and by plotting compass needle. The Activity made them easily understand the concept of magnetic field lines. They also understood that the field lines are strongest at the poles as the lines are closest at these points.
