Vrikshabandhan

Vrikshabandhan! Also known as Raksha Bandhan of Trees, it's a unique festival celebrated in India, typically in August. Here's what it's about:

Vrikshabandhan is a festival that aims to:

1. _Promote tree conservation_: Encourage people to plant and protect trees.

2. _Raise environmental awareness_: Highlight the importance of trees in maintaining ecological balance.

3. _Foster a sense of responsibility_: Encourage individuals to care for trees like they would care for their siblings.

During Vrikshabandhan, people tie sacred threads (rakhi) around the trunks of trees, symbolizing a bond between humans and nature. It's a beautiful initiative to promote harmony with the environment!

Happy Independence Day!

  •  The Independence Day of India, which is celebrated religiously throughout the Country on the 15th of August every year, holds tremendous ground in the list of national days, since it reminds every Indian about the dawn of a new beginning, the beginning of an era of deliverance from the clutches of British colonialism of more than 200 years. It was on 15th August 1947 that India was declared independent from British colonialism, and the reins of control were handed over to the leaders of the Country. India's gaining of independence was a tryst with destiny, as the struggle for freedom was a long and tiresome one, witnessing the sacrifices of many freedom fighters, who laid down their lives on the line.
  • This Independence Day, let us reflect on the amazing legacy our independence fighters left behind. These courageous people left behind slogans, captions, lines, and quotations that are more than just catchphrases as they capture the spirit of our country and serve as a constant reminder of the price paid for freedom.
  • Every word reflects the bravery, solidarity, and persistence that has moulded India's development throughout the years. Let us remember the past while also looking forward to a bright future where equality and freedom will always be our guiding principles.
  • Happy Independence Day to all!

As a part of sustainable living club on Independence Day occasion they made wall hanging from waste card boards and pen stand from old bangles.
