Vrikshabandhan and janmashtami celebration

The students celebrated Vrikshabandhan and Janmashtami with great enthusiasm, devotion and a strong message of environmental responsibility. The celebration beautifully blended our rich cultural traditions with the importance of protecting and nurturing nature.

As part of Vrikshabandhan, students tied eco-friendly rakhis around trees, symbolising their bond with nature and their commitment to protecting the environment. They pledged to care for trees, conserve natural resources and contribute towards a greener and healthier planet. The activity helped students understand that trees are not merely natural resources but our lifelong companions that sustain and protect us.

The Janmashtami celebration filled the atmosphere with joy and devotion. Students presented engaging performances depicting the life and teachings of Lord Krishna. Through skits, shloka recitation and vibrant dance performances, they highlighted the timeless values of kindness, friendship, courage and righteousness.

The combined celebration of Vrikshabandhan and Janmashtami provided a meaningful learning experience for the students. It encouraged them to remain connected to their cultural heritage while becoming responsible caretakers of the environment.

The celebration concluded with the message: “Protect Nature, Preserve Traditions and Spread the Spirit of Love and Harmony.
