Class- 8 SCIENCE Activity: observing stomata in leaf

 











Learners of Class VIII performed the individual activity in which they performed the analysis of stomata from the leaf of lily. It was demonstrated in the class how to prepare the slide of stomata with lily leaf. The leaf was taken, then broken so that the thin layer of epidermis comes which can be put on the slide . Safrannin solution was dropped over it and coverslip was put. It was observed under the microscope. 

The learners was very much engaged and focused on analysing the stomatal pore in the leaf.

Class -7 SCIENCE Activity: Modelling Respiratory system

 















Learners of class 7 performed individual activity in which they prepare model of human respiratory system. They took waste bottle, balloons, pipe, scissors, tape to make the model. Step 1: ​Cut the Bottom Off Your Plastic Bottle, Step 2: Carefully Cut/screw a Hole in Your Bottle Cap Step 3: ​Cut Your Straws to Be Your Windpipe, Step 4: Prepare Your Balloons to Be Your Lungs, Step 5: Attach Your Lungs to Your Windpipe, Step 6: ​Put Your Lungs Into Your Bottle, Step 7: ​Prepare Your Plastic Wrap to Be Your Diaphragm, Step 8: Make and Observe Your Lungs Inhale and Exhale!, With the help of model making they easily understood the mechanism of inhalation and exhalation of air into and out of the lungs.
